Juice Processing Line Sourcing coordinates apple juice processing line quotations on one comparable RFQ. Buyers send fruit variety, incoming hardness, mill and enzyme assumptions, target juice type, quantity and destination. We ask factories to restate the same inclusions so press or extractor, filtration, evaporation, installation, shipping and commissioning can be compared. This service does not manufacture juice equipment and does not attach another company’s certificate to this site.
Service stage and responsibilities
| Decision point | Evidence or question |
|---|---|
| Supplier shortlist: Upstream | Assumptions every apple juice processing line quote should repeat: fruit variety and seasonal condition; whether fruit is washed, milled and enzyme-held before pressing; required extraction throughput in t/h with that fruit rather than an empty-cycle figure; yield % w/w; cloudy versus clarified versus concentrate; three-phase supply; cooling water; quantity; destination; delivery window. For mango or pineapple campaigns attached to the same factory visit, ask who supplies skin, stone or fiber separation and puree preparation, because those modules are not implied by an apple-press sheet. |
| Control boundary | Ask which mill, press or extractor, enzyme tank, decanter, ultrafiltration, evaporator and pasteuriser sit inside the quoted cell versus remaining buyer equipment. Tooling such as mill screens, press cloths and filter media should be listed as included change parts or as later extras. Installation labour, shipping mass, training hours, FAT witness points and commissioning travel stay as named lines. Software licences for recipe or CIP sequences, if offered, should not be implied by a brochure feature list. |
| Downstream | Pomace handling, buffer tanks between batch extraction and continuous pasteurisation, and the next filler or aseptic tank are not implied by a juice-line keyword. A factory that omits SAT pass criteria for juice quality on representative fruit is quoting a machine shell, not a process cell. Juice Processing Line Sourcing can keep the checklist aligned; the purchase contract still names who signs SAT. Compare extraction offers using the same yield and downstream-load questions. |
